About A & B Tax
A&B Tax Service was founded in 1999 by Anthony and Brenda Darga to provide income tax preparation and planning services at affordable prices to the hard-working individuals in Racine and surrounding area in Southeast Wisconsin.
Using modern technology to transmit returns electronically and direct deposit of refunds, most clients receive their refunds in about 10 days without the expensive Refund Anticipation Loans marketed so heavily by the large corporations.
Fees are kept low by keeping overhead low. This is done by working from home instead of having a separate office that remains vacant for most of the year and needs to be staffed throughout the day whether there is work to do or not. Therefore, hours are by appointment only.

Meet Anthony Darga
I started completing income tax returns in 1987 as a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service for the low-income residents of the City of Kenosha while studying at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and continued preparing income tax returns professionally after graduation in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science – Concentration in Finance.
I am a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers (NATP) and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.
